Easy Zipper Bag Class

IN THIS TWO HOUR CLASS YOU WILL MAKE A ZIPPER BAG (or two)IN THE SIZE OF YOUR CHOICE AND IN THE FABRICS OF YOUR CHOICE. THESE ARE QUICK TO MAKE AND YOU WILL WANT TO MAKE SEVERAL FOR YOURSELF AND SOME FOR GIFTS.

SUPPLY LIST:

Sewing machine and basic sewing supplies

Zipper foot for your sewing machine

TWO fabrics for each bag – one for the bag, one for the lining, depending on the size of your bag. Two large scraps (about 10″ x 12″) will work as will two fat quarters. Think outside the box on your fabric – it can be quilting cotton of course but it can also be upholstery fabric, old embroidered linens, old printed kitchen towels, painted or GELLI printed fabrics or certainly pieced fabrics

Two pieces of flannel the same size of your fabric

Zipper – Color of your choice and at least as long as the width of your bag or longer as we will be cutting it off

Thread – A basic thread color to sew up the bag plus you may want a different color for the topstitching beside the zipper and for the quilting on the bag

Zipper Pull – Optional but oh so cute

This Class will be booked soon at Golden Needles in Rockport. Call them to sign up.
