Insanity V is a baby quilt that has 1,600 neutral squares that begin at 1 1/2” and finish at 1”. I quilted it with hearts and swirls then decided the hearts needed more definition and outlined them with neutral variegated thread in a feather stitch. This is my smallest piece in the Insanity Series but it has taken me the longest to complete. I absolutely am in love with this quilt.
The picture on the left is a close up of the quilting on the front, the center picture is a close up of the decorative stitching around the heart and the right picture is a close up of the back.
Just in time for Valentines Day. Have a happy one❣️
Beautiful piecework and beautiful quilting. Lucky baby!
Thank you Karen. None of my Insanity quilts are going anywhere until I declare my insanity series finished which could happen any time. I would like to make 10 but we shall see. I am still enjoying the process.
