This is my version of Jen Kingwells Long Time Gone. Those of you that know me know that I don’t like to follow directions very well but I really, really fell in love with this quilt and just had to make it. I started piecing in January and have had some very intense sessions making those tiny, tiny blocks. It is far from perfect but overall I am very pleased with it. Time to take a break to celebrate 4th of July week with family. I won’t be totally out of the studio as my sisters in law want to make zipper bags. Works for me!
